Terms of Service
Effective May 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Hillis Brothers Painting website (“the Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site.
Use of the site
The Site is provided for informational purposes about our services and to give you a way to request an estimate. You agree to use it for lawful purposes only and not to misuse it (for example, attempting to disrupt the Site, scrape it at scale, or interfere with other users).
Estimates and pricing
Anything you see on the Site about pricing, ranges, timelines, or process is general guidance only and is not a binding offer. Specific estimates are provided after an in-person walkthrough and are valid only when issued in writing and signed. We may revise an estimate if site conditions differ from what was described or assumed.
Site content
We work to keep the information on the Site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that everything is error-free or up to date. Photos shown may have been taken on past projects; results vary by surface, condition, and finish chosen.
Intellectual property
The Site content, including text, photos, and design, is owned by Hillis Brothers Painting or licensed to us. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or republish content without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hillis Brothers Painting is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our actual painting work is governed separately by the written estimate and contract you sign with us.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kent County, Michigan.
